This section is being approved by IADR in December, 2004 and became officially active since 29 September, 2005.

Following the scientific activities of this section and its member in the field of research in dentistry leading to their international publications and outstanding presence in different national and international congresses, this section make progress resulted in to being approved as the owner of requisite qualifications for becoming Division in 2009. During these years, this scientific organization provided opportunity for membership of willing academic staffs, dental students and other dentists so that they can benefit from all advantages and supporting competence of this institute.

Iranian section is honored to publicize its great enthusiasm in further cooperation of all Iranian dentists and their registration in this organization with the purpose of globalization of Iran and Iranian dentists in the field of research.
